YOU WISH TO USE V-SIM FROM YOUR MOBILE… You have three options for using your V-Sim from your mobile:

Callback Direct Call Method: To make a “CallBack” call, just call one of the free Telme Callback numbers and hang up after one dialling tone: the call does not cost anything, it is totally free. After a couple of seconds, your mobile will ring. Pick up your phone and enter the number you wish to phone or enter the number found in your V-Sim’s address book. If you have a GPRS connection you can use your mobile’s Internet Browser. This method guarantees a quick and efficient selection of numbers to dial as well as accessing your Virtual Sim’s address book

If you have a Java 2.0 compatible phone and a GPRS connection, you can download the V-Sim application directly from your mobile phone. And thanks to the Direct Call Ng management, you can make calls, send text messages and make conference calls directly to your mobile. With the option of direct and dedicated management of your Virtual Sim address book, to send multiple text messages and make conference calls to up to 6 participants.
Finally, it is also possible to make a “CallBack” call, by sending a simple text that contains the number you wish to call. The Digital Portal platform will call you back, putting you in contact with the desired number.
Direct Message System: The V-Sim Java application, downloadable directly on to your mobile phone, makes it possible to send multiple text messages to any destination at reduced costs. V-Sim is the world’s first product to use DMS. DMS (Direct Message System) lets Telme users send completely free and unlimited messages worldwide direct to any V-Sim number. Compared to ordinary text messaging, DMS allows up to 1000 characters per message and supports integrated functions for notification, delivery and reading. The message is transmitted wholly within the WoIP2 network: this guarantees instant delivery and avoids the delays that often occur on text messaging networks.

Direct Access Method: You can make a “Direct Access” call by simply dialling the “Direct Access” number, from your mobile or from any landline or public telephone, that you will find in the list in the V-Sim pack or in the instruction booklet. With Direct Access you can reach or be reached by any Telme user worldwide.

3G Method: If you have a third-generation mobile you can make or receive “3GVideoCall” calls or video calls, by using the connection: GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/Wi-Fi. You just need to install the application on your mobile and another piece of WoIP2 will become part of your communication means.

[+] IF YOU WANT TO USE V-SIM FROM YOUR PC… The power and versatility of the V-Sim and WoIP2 technology can be harnessed directly from your PC. You can use all the functions of Calls, Videophone, Text Messages, Conference and Chat, through the “DeskCall NG 2.0” application, that can be found on the website www.telme.sg.

[+] IF YOU WANT TO USE V-SIM FROM YOUR LANDLINE OR PUBLIC TELEPHONE... Though your landline or through an ordinary public telephone, you can use Direct Access to enter the world of WoIP2. You can make a “Direct Access” call by simply dialling the “Direct Access” number that is found in the list in your V-Sim packet or in the instruction booklet. With Direct Access you can reach or be reached by any Telme worldwide. To call Telme network users, free-phone numbers are available in more than 60 countries worldwide, thus making your communication completely free without any additional costs.

[+] IF YOU WANT TO USE V-SIM VoIP THROUGH A BROADBAND INTERNET CONNECTION… Your Virtual Sim lets you connect to the WoIP2 network from any VoIP compatible Sip 2.0 device. It is possible to then immediately configure a ATA, Router VoIP, Ip-Phone, or Wi-Fi Phone device, directly though your Virtual Sim.

[+] IF YOU WISH TO USE V-SIM FROM YOUR VIDEOPHONE... Your virtual Sim if compatible with most of the biggest Sip 2.0 VideoPhone brands. It is possible to connect a VideoPhone directly to the WoIP2 network and to make video calls between VideoPhone and DeskCallNg or through VideoTelePhone and 3GVideoCall on your mobile.

[+] THE VIRTUAL NUMBER. Each V-Sim has a Virtual Number found on the packaging label. The Virtual Number is a WoIP2 network number that lets you make and receive calls directly on your V-Sim within the Telme network or on the public network, through Direct Access numbers. On activating your V-Sim, the Virtual Number is configured on the “Catch-Me” service but can also be configured on other services such as DeskCall or on your IP telephone or VoIP device. The Virtual Number supports advanced functions such as a Conference Call system, an email Voice Mail system, an Audio Announcement system and the option of External Redirect i.e. redirecting calls to an external number. The virtual number can be reached for free from any V-Sim from the WoIP2 network or through free-phone “Direct Access” numbers present in more than 60 countries. You will never be alone: Catch-me ensures that you can always be contacted on your V-Sim, regardless of which service you are using: it will try to reach you with priority on the WoIP2 network and if it is not possible to contact you, it will redirect your Virtual Number to your mobile number.

[+]ADVANTAGES OF YOUR VIRTUAL NUMBER. Your Virtual Number represents the V-Sim "telephone number" services associated with it. Anyone wishing to contact you, whether they be on the Telme network or on the public* network , can do so through the Virtual Number. If you are always busy, if you travel often, using Virtual Number is extremely useful and convenient as it can reduce heavy roaming costs by more than 80%.

It is possible to get a landline telephone number in more than 60 countries and use it directly on your Virtual Sim, so as always to have a geographic telephone number that can be reached by any telephone network. This optional service that can be activated on your V-Sim is called DID number and works as a Virtual Number but with the advantage of being able to be reached by any telephone, regardless of telephone network.
